French e-gaming industry expansion
Following record-breaking gross gaming revenue (GGR) declared by the French regulator l'Autorité Nationale des Jeux (ANJ) in 2022, the transaction was announced. Euro 12.90 billion (£11.08 billion/$14.04 billion) was the yearly GGR for the twelve months ending 31 December 2022.

Meanwhile, the lottery brought in €5.6bn in 2022, up 10.2% from the previous year.
